Since humble beginnings in 1972 in Sarina, Queensland, with one truck and one loader, JT & PA Croyden Pty Ltd has become a leading provider of civil works in the Mackay Region and adjacent hinterland. Today some forty (40) years on we are a company operating a comprehensive civil fleet, with the resources and expertise to drive delivery of optimal civil solutions for our clients. 

 

John and Pat Croyden began by hiring out machinery that John operated himself. As the need for machinery hire grew, John & Pat expanded the business to cater for the growing demand of works required in the area. Over time, what was a small business grew into a large company with a portfolio of longstanding clients.

After many years of hands on dedication building and operating the business, John and Pat decided to take a step back, streamlining the business, and in 2007, Stefan Tomerini who has a strong background in transport and logistics, technical as well as management expertise, was appointed to oversee operations and manage the company. Since this time the Croyden’s team has built on the strong foundation of the owner Directors, positioning the company as a strategic competitor, and continuing its focus on forging value relationships with clients.

 

Croyden’s agile responsiveness to the dynamic business environment, consistent commitment to delivering for the client, and continuous improvement of internal processes, the business has developed a reputation for performance, value and quality. Our longstanding client base and repeat business demonstrates the calibre of our work.

 

Today, JT & PA Croyden Pty Ltd remains privately owned and regionally based as a civil works enterprise with a strong revenue base and currently employing over thirty (30) employees, many of whom are long serving employees.
